Wild colour from nature.

This work explores colour as a way of remembering and reconnecting. Each piece is created with plants, flowers, minerals and food waste, revealing the bright and expressive tones that nature offers when we work in relationship with the land and the communities who have carried these traditions forward.

Through process led experimentation, I connect with ancestral knowledge and reclaim approaches to colour making that centre indigenous wisdom and sustainable practices. This project honours community, place, and the deep connection between people, land, craft and culture, embracing slow textiles and a practice rooted in care.

The result is a celebration of vibrant natural colour, expressive pattern, and textiles that hold story, place, and connection. These works invite us to imagine colour that is ethical, joyful, and grounded in nature — reconnecting us to old knowledge and guiding a more conscious future for textiles.
